Tuina therapy

Tuina (twiena) therapy is an ancient Chinese healing practice focused on letting Qi, or energy, flow freely through the meridians. I have specifically developed this treatment for addressing symptoms caused by burnout and (high)sensitivity.

The Meridians

Meridians, energy flows, run through the body and are filled with Qi. When the Qi cannot flow properly through the meridians, imbalance and illness arise. Treating illness through opening the meridians was developed centuries ago in China. Tuina, Qigong, the use of gemstones, and moxa are also ancient methods.

Tuina therapy offers help for:

  • Burnout and symptoms caused by (high) sensitivity
  • Fatigue and concentration problems.
  • Difficulty relaxing.
  • Being preoccupied, worrying, unwanted thoughts.
  • Stress, tension, and being easily overwhelmed.
  • Inner restlessness.
  • Imbalance in the flow of Qi.
The treatment

During the treatment, you lie on the treatment table, fully clothed under a sheet.
The treatment consists of gentle massage techniques and guiding Qi through the meridians, Qigong exercises, the use of gemstones, and warming moxa.

Results

Tuina therapy improves the flow of Qi in the meridians. You will experience deep relaxation, inner peace and a clear mind. The Qigong exercises help you stay balanced and relaxed. You will learn to better manage stress and sensitivity. You will learn to listen more closely to your body’s signals.

Fee

Tuina therapy starts with three sessions, with a period of two weeks in between. The total duration of the treatment depends on the type of problems, and how the body reacts to the treatment. A session of Tuina therapy lasts 60 minutes and costs 94,50 euros.
