Three card spread
Celtic cross interpretation
1. Formulate the question, theme or direction.
2. Shuffle the cards anyway you like.
3. Draw the cards 1 by 1 and name the position of the card before you draw it. Shuffle the cards in between. (Note the top card in the box!)
Celtic cross:
1. Theme, 2. Cross/ blocking the theme, 3. The conscious, 4. The subconscious, 5. Before, 6. After, 7. Inside, 8. Outside, 9. Warning, advice 10. Future.

4. Count how many major and how many minor arcana cards you see in the spread.
5. State which energy of the minor arcana is most prevalent.
6. Which card stands out to you? Start your interpretation of the cards here.
7. Use your book(s) and look up each card, write down a few key words from the card’s description that fit the question.
8. Look for connections, what do the cards want to tell you about each other?
9. Formulate the answer to the question.
10. Shuffle the cards well and put them carefully away.
